Alongside our general and bespoke services, we also host an onsite Blacksmiths gallery which displays a range for blacksmith made items, available to buy directly from West Country Blacksmiths, plus a range of made to order designs which can be purchased online, made to size and sent directly.

Please feel free to browse our product ranges for our online blacksmith gallery, but please remember that anything you can’t find, could be designed and made to order by our blacksmiths, all you have to do is ask. We will then produce any designs necessary and submit a free estimate to undertake the piece for you.

Please note that although we will always do our best to meet the estimated delivery window, as items are handmade to order, sometimes a delivery may overrun. We would always recommend placing an urgent order online and following this up with an email to let us know when a product is required and we will endeavour to have your order to you before the required date.

    Grapevine horseshoe winerack

    The grapevine horseshoe wineracks, are made from reclaimed local horseshoes supplied by a local farrier, which is then enhanced by forging a carefully designed grapevine design including grapevine leaves, vineyard bar and grape bunches. Pictured winerack hold twelfth bottles and is our most popular size.

    Single candle holder with to an organic design

    Candle holder made with a 125mm diameter dish to hold a candle and a decorative base plate. The dish is supported with a slightly organic design which is made using textured vineyard bar, with wrapping  in the center. The candle holder is roughly 350mm in height, but can be made to a different height to order and is finished traditionally with a bees-waxed finish which protects the metalwork and is easily maintained.

    A summers bench with a galvanised and heritage black painted finish

    We are pleased to offer to bespoke make this beautifully summers bench to order. The bench is finished with a hot-dip galvanised finish to offer the best possible rust protection prior to acid treating and paint finishing to the colour of heritage black. All metalwork is made from solid steel bar and not poor quality hollow section steel as with cheaper off the shelf benched. The bench will be delivered on a pallet as one complete piece. The bench will be handmade to order and may vary slightly from the pictured bench due to the handmade nature of the piece. This bench will be made to order and we will look to make and send this item in between 3-6 weeks. The item will be delivered to the curbside on a pallet. The total price of this bench is inclusive of  VAT & pallet delivery cost.

    Fire guards made by the expert craftsmen of West Country Blacksmiths. The fireguards are made to a simple design but made to a high level of quality with a 30x8 top and bottom bar which is punched to receive 12mm round. The metalwork is made with no visual welds and is finished by heat treating and graphite polishing to leave a details heat resistant finish. The guard is made with a wide front face and two hinged side panels. The guard you are buying on this order is 1000mm wide with two hinges returns at 400mm all at a height of 800mm.

The overall size of the candle holder is 350mm in height, with a decoratively forge textured base and 125mm diameter dish to hold the candle. The central stem of the candle holder is the main feature of the piece with multiple textured bars decoratively forged and wrapped. The item is finished with a heat treated and traditional with a bees-waxed finish which protects the metalwork and is easily maintained.     A piece of decorative music wall art made for internal use. The metalwork is made in steel and finished by heat treating and clear matt lacquering to offer a beautiful unique finish. The artwork is made to order at an estimated finish length of 490mm. We aim to make and deliver our metalwork within 2-3 week, but quicker if at all possible. Please note all our costings include free of charge delivery and VAT.
