Alongside our more artistic, elaborate and architectural work, we are proud to continue the tradition of the ‘country blacksmith down the road’ by offering a first-class metalwork service to the local community from our forge.

The blacksmiths and metalworkers at West Country Blacksmiths have the skills and experience to undertake all types of metalwork projects. Backed with a ‘can do’ attitude, this skill set enables us to offer a huge range of practical services to the local communities of Somerset and North Devon.

Our blacksmiths and metalworkers work with all types of metal – including wrought iron, cast iron, mild steel, stainless steel, brass, bronze and aluminium, to name but a few – and are experts in all forms of repairs and restoration, with an eye for detail.

Our team of welders are all fully coded and work to the highest standard and all of our metalworkers hold current CSCS site safety cards.

West Country Blacksmiths is a fully insured company that operates stringent safe working procedures. All evidence of insurance and coded welding certifications is available electronically on request.
