Curtain rail supplied as a bespoke curtain pole made to the required length and two brackets as pictured. The curtain pole is made from 20mm solid steel round bard which is hammered back on each end to decoratively swell the bar. The curtain rail it then forge treated, polished and finished with a traditional dark beeswax. The curtain rail is supplied with two fixing bracket which are again hand forged and finished with the same process. The bracket are countersunk to receive a standard fixing. A bespoke rams head log holder by the expert craftsmen of West Country Blacksmiths. Our rams head log holders are all fully forged and textured with straps of steel which are fully forge textured and riveted together. On each side of the log holder at the front we have forged rams heads. The metalwork is heat treated, polished and traditional beeswax finish, which was sourced locally. The log holders we are selling is 470mm wide on the front face, 320mm deep and 610mm high. Fire guards made by the expert craftsmen of West Country Blacksmiths. The fireguards are made to a simple design but made to a high level of quality with a 30x8 top and bottom bar which is punched to receive 12mm round. The metalwork is made with no visual welds and is finished by heat treating and graphite polishing to leave a details heat resistant finish. The guard is made with a wide front face and two hinged side panels. The guard you are buying on this order is 1000mm wide with two hinges returns at 400mm all at a height of 800mm.

Exmoor roe deer antler candelabra made to order by West Country Blacksmiths
West Country Blacksmiths are proud to produce Exmoor roe deer antler candelabra's using stag antlers found on the moors of Exmoor. Working in partnership with local farmers, West Country Blacksmiths receive antlers found on the moor and make items to order such as these beautiful tabletop pieces. The Exmoor Roe Deer Antler Candelabras are made with a forged textured base plate with four feet with the antler fixed to the base via a decorative metal connecting piece. From this connecting piece, arms of textured steel grow organically around the antler very decoratively and wit some end of the steel tapered and shaped, and some with a disk to act as a drip tray to a candle which slots into a copper tube. Metalwork is all heat treated and lacquered to offer the piece protection and leave a lovely metal-like finish. -
A Single candle holder made to an organic grapevine design. The overall size of the candle holder is 350mm in height, with a decoratively forge textured base and 125mm diameter dish to hold the candle. The central stem of the candle holder is the main feature of the piece with multiple textured bars decoratively forged and wrapped. The item is finished with a heat treated and traditional with a bees-waxed finish which protects the metalwork and is easily maintained. The candle holder is roughly 350mm in height, but can be made to a different height to order.

Horseshoe coat rack bespoke made by the expert blacksmiths of West Country Blacksmiths The metalwork is made from reclaimed Exmoor horseshoes supplied by a local farrier, which are burned on the forge to clean them, re-shaped and remarked where necessary. This is then enhanced by forging a carefully designed grapevine pattern which includes hooks. Once made, the coat racks are heated on the forge and finished with a traditional beeswax which is locally sourced.
