Fabrication of replacement arms for a Funfair ride.

The expert metalwork of West Country Blacksmiths fabricated twelve replacement funfair ride arms for the Paratrooper in Butlins, Minehead.

The expert metalworkers from West Country Blacksmiths were tasked to recreate twelve funfair aims as exact direct replacements for the original arms.

With no original drawings, the design team from West Country Blacksmith surveyed the original funfair ride arms extensively and undertook thickness checks on the original hollow section steel.  Following the survey drawing were completed, checked and approved by the relevant insurance assessors. Every fine detail was checked and approved.

Following the approval of the design, the expert coded welding team from West Country Blacksmiths fabricated the twelve replacement arms which were each over 5600mm in length.

On completion, each of the thousand plus welds on each of the arms were individually tested by an external company and the fabrication checked and approved by the required authorities.

The metalwork is finished with a white powder coated finish.
