Restoration of a 16th-century brass walking stick end by West Country Blacksmiths.

West Country Blacksmiths were proud to restore a 16th century brass walking stick end discovered by a mud larker working along the River Thames. The piece is believed to be the oldest know walking sick end of its type and following restoration this is now on display in the V&A Museum in London.

The expert metalworker from West Country Blacksmiths delicate reshaped the brass work and clean up the material to expose original marking.
