Project Description
West Country Blacksmiths are pleased to share a bespoke cast iron staircase project completed in Clifton, Bristol for a private client.
The smiths were tasked with bespoke designing a staircase which to suit the neighbouring heritage ironwork. The staircase a mixed of locally reclaimed cast iron panels and newly casted tread plates. These were the based of the new staircase with all other metalwork being made from hot dip galvanised mild steel.
All metalwork was treated and painted with a heritage black paint finish.
The metalwork was designed, made, finished by West Country Blacksmiths at there forge on the edge of Exmoor in Somerset. The metalwork was delivered and installed by same team of expert craftsmen who produced the metalwork.
