Terms and conditions of all online purchases

All items advertised online for purchase, are items which have been previously produced by West Country Blacksmiths. The pictures shown on each item are not the actual item which is purchased, the pictures are for representative purposes only as all items are made to order, and may vary slightly.
AllĀ items are made to order and the measurements shown are not exact measurements, they are for a guide only. If you order an item and require it an exact size, we ask that you email to advise which 12 hours of purchase, quoting the purchase name via email.
All items advertised for sale by West Country Blacksmiths have been developed and worked at West Country Blacksmithing most of which are fully hand forged and some which are component based, prior to forging.
If a design is undertaken for a project, the design will remains the property of West Country Blacksmiths and can not be replicated.
West Country Blacksmiths reserves the right to make additional charges to cover any increase in transport costs occurring before the date of delivery or to an address other than that specified when ordering or for items being sent outside of the UK.
Any time or date for delivery of orders taken by West Country Blacksmiths is given in good faith by West Country Blacksmiths, but are estimate dates only. If a item is required before a specific date, we ask that this is advised via email immediately after purchase.
Risk in the goods or product made by WBCĀ shall pass to the buyer upon delivery.
If client fails to take delivery of the goods or fails to give WCBĀ adequate delivery instructions at the time stated for delivery, WCBĀ may charge the client for storage for a period up to 4 weeks from the original delivery date, after which the agreement may be deemed to be terminated and WCBĀ shall have the right to sell the goods to another party.
West Country Blacksmiths will make good, at cost to WCB, any damage to the goods that can be reasonably demonstrated, to WCBĀ satisfaction, to have been suffered in transit provided that Client informs WCB, by email, within 24 hours of receiving the goods.
In the event that client can reasonably demonstrate that the finished goods do not conform to the agreed specification then this should be communicated to WCB, by email, within 5 working days from the date of delivery. The parties shall hold discussions and in the event that WCBĀ agrees that the goods do not conform to specification, then WCBĀ will offer appropriate remedy at cost to WCB.
All prices includes postage and vat at the standard 20% rate.
West Country Blacksmiths items are made to order and for that reason, unless an item is proven to be substandard, then items are non-returnable. for this reason we ask that customer ensure they fully understand a product before a purchase and we welcome discussions prior to purchased.
